'Voice-to-Schedule' Timeline Morpher

01The challenge

Construction superintendents hate typing updates on job sites. They communicate through fast, messy field notes, which often causes critical schedule delays. In this high-impact bounty, you will build an interactive, high-agency prototype for Masaro that turns messy voice notes into real-time, animated schedule adjustments. Your mission is to craft a lightning-fast single-page application combining live audio recording, intelligent AI data extraction, an animated interactive timeline, and resilient offline-first storage mechanics.

02Required skills

• next.js
• react
• typescript
• tailwind
• web audio api
• indexeddb
• ai integration

03Strict acceptance criteria

1. 01Implement a fully functional audio recorder with a real-time canvas waveform visualizer and sample audio fallback clip.
2. 02Integrate STT and LLM processing to successfully parse messy field notes into a structured JSON payload containing affected tasks, delay durations, and dependencies.
3. 03Build a dynamic, interactive mini Gantt chart or timeline where nodes visibly animate and turn red upon receiving delay updates.
4. 04Include an offline simulation toggle that reliably caches audio recordings in IndexedDB and executes an automatic retry sync mechanism upon reconnection.
